About the Author
Author and poet whose works include essays, historical articles and poetry published in both Maine and Ireland. Her first book, Ireland's Musical Instrument Makers: Who They Are and How to Find Them, was released by Salmon Publishing, Galway and featured on BBC radio in Ireland. A Maine native with major ramblings abroad, Joyce Pye currently resides in Bath, Maine. Galway is the city, however, that makes her heart sing. Her poetry has appeared in two anthologies, A Sense of Place: Collected Maine Poems and Coming Home Twice.
