Robert (Bob) and Peggy Beringer shared a 59-year marriage, including the final two years in which Peggy weakened and died. Bob then wrote the story of their life together and how they managed its concluding months. “Living Unafraid at the End of Life” is utterly factual and explicit about what happened and how they felt about it. Somehow it does so in a very comforting and reassuring way. It is a quietly inspiring little book. |
