About the owner, Nancy E. Randolph

Since 1990 owner of Just Write Communications, a small typesetting, design and business services company serving the needs of small businesses in the Brunswick area. 

 

Originally from Ohio Nancy has called Maine “home” since 1985.  She is a community volunteer, active citizen in local politics and very much a part of the local business community.

 

Below are some highlights:

 

Peace Corps Volunteer. Served as business advisor in 1999 in Niue, a small island nation in the South Pacific.

 

Vietnam Era Veteran (having served as a Navy Journalist in Japan, Hawaii and aboard the U.S.S. Sanctuary.)

 

· Co-Chair Androscoggin Brunswick-Topsham Riverwalk Advisory Committee

· Co-chair, Swinging Bridge Fund Committee

•    District 6, Brunswick Town Councilor (2002-2004)

•   Former Member of Midcoast Chamber of Commerce

•   Member Brunswick Resources Corporation (2002-2004)

•   Past Chair Membership Committee, Brunswick Downtown Association 1994-96

•   Past Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust Stewardship Chair Instrumental in planning and creation of 2.5 miles of hiking cross-country skiing trails at Bradley Pond Farm

•   Completed Master Gardener Program 1994 Served as local reference on home-gardening problems

•   Selectman, Town of Topsham, 1989-1992. While a selectman initiated the creation of several ad hoc and standing committees in Topsham town government including an economic development committee and computer advisory committee

•   Served as a member of the Solid Waste and Recycling Committee during the revision and implementation of a mandatory recycling program.  Participated in the research and planning for the current solid waste facility (recycling and transfer station). This facility won a governor’s award for recycling
